I am an absolute chocaholic, but caramel has always been right up there rivalling for top spot on my favourite flavours list. Imagine my delight at finding this delicious recipe, it is the perfect combination of chocolate and salted caramel…..just looking at it makes my mouth water!  A couple of years ago I took my daughter, (then 7) on a two month backpacking adventure around Europe. We have wonderful memories of visiting the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa and afterwards sitting in the sun in the Tuileries Garden, enjoying a crepe from a street cart, dripping with copious amounts of salted caramel sauce. This recipe is simple to follow but has quite a few processes and requires time to refrigerate between each process, so it is possibly best to make the day before a special occasion.
